teaching lit is extremely hard. im trying to tutor a girl who reads words, not sentences; much less poetry. clearly this is why she needs tuition, but when someone thinkg "chasing butterflies" is personification you know you have a hard time ahead.
i realise i am losing it. i need to think. reading isnt enough.nobody to talk to. its frustrating!!!! and rather weird i suppose. does anyone else miss mugging?
though, it is good to return to poetry. poetry is the closest thing to perfection i know. and they alliterate too!
