not feeling very coherent
it is always extremely tempting at the end of a period of time to get nostalgic and be mopey and romantic about everything that has passed. and you could go on forever about ohhh i get doe eyed and my heart feels like bursting when i rmb the time.. you rmb the time? when we did such and such a trivial thing together.. and make it out to be the whole universe and ahhh its HORROR! to fathom what is to come, and ohhh how thankful they are for all the sacred times they've spent with such and such a group of people
well i have a different opinion on the justice to memory. and human relationships are too often built on zero-sum power games, and i've very frankly seen enough.
so dearest when you are busy romanticising, remember. for some things, you have no right to nostalgia.
